- Lettered as defensive back in 1972,73.
- Led team in interceptions in 1972. Among the leaders in the school for interceptions in a season.
- Started all 22 games in his career.
- Had team record 100-yard interception return versus 1973 California Bears.
- Fourth round pick in the 1974 NFL Draft (Pittsburgh Steelers).
- Part of 1975 and 1976 Super Bowl teams (Pittsburgh).
ACCOLADES
- Was team rookie of the year in 1972
- Earned All-American honors in 1973.
