GASTON GREEN
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
- Lettered as tailback in 1984,85,86,87.
- Ended his career as Top Bruin rusher with 3,731 career net yards rushing. Now, second to Johnathan Franklin.
- Led team in scoring in 1986 (102 pts).
- Has most 100-yard games with 20.
- Set the UCLA record for most rushing yards in a season (1,405) in 1986. (Now ranks 4th). Also led team in rushing in 1985 and 1987.
- Ranks 4th on the team for career all-purpose yards (4,283).
- Served as team captain in 1987.
- Helped 1987 team to a #9 ranking, a share of the Pac 10 championship, and a trip to the Aloha Bowl.
- First round selection (14th pick overall) in 1988 NFL draft. (Los Angeles Rams)
- Was a Pro Bowl selection as a Denver Bronco in 1991.
