- Was a Marine officer in WWII, where he was injured in combat.
- Upon return, he served as assistant coach and scout for UCLA.
- Also was UCLA's official basketball scorer for 44 years.
ACCOLADES
- Inducted into UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame in 90. Honored for his many years of dedication to the UCLA Athletic department.
