for next season's team, either to start or share minutes with Tyger. I watched Will McClendon's highlight clips (Couldn't figure out how to link them, but easy to Google on Youtube.) and his handle seems more than adequate.

A good defender that can stay in front of a 1,2 or three. McClendon fits the bill. He is quick, strong and committed to defense.
Mick can clearly recruit and he is now getting his kind of player. A grad transfer big and guard are possible.

New 2021 PG offer by UCLA

UCLA has offered another PG for 2021. Tyty Washington recently decommitted from Creighton (where the HC made a racially insensitive comment). He has several offers but let's see if HC Cronin can bring him in to provide depth at the PG position.

Here are a few thoughts on the PG situation at UCLA.
1. Washington hopefully is open to coming to compete for the starting PG position at UCLA. If nothing else, Cronin realizes the problems posed by having only one true PG on the team this season. Tyger being a short PG added to the limitations since he isn't physically big enough to break or dribble through full court press situations.
2. Should McClendon end up being the only addition to the backcourt, I'm hoping he can provide backup PG minutes during a game. 6-8 minutes per half at the PG position next season will get Tyger more rest. I feel Tyger wore down during some games this season due to the number of minutes he had to play since UCLA didn't have a viable PG backup.
3. This latest offer may mean UCLA knows top 3 player Jaden Hardy is headed elsewhere to play college ball or is going straight to the NBA G-League (more likely).
