Dr Dre: Claiming his daughter earned admit to Southern Ca

I guess pay to play the old fashioned way is back in style, given how Dr. Dre went on social media to brag about his daughter's admission to Southern Cal, claiming that she did it "on her own." Yeah, I'm sure that her application was handled like any other regular applicant whose dad donated $70 million and has a building and a degree named after him.

I saw that as well and got a chuckle out of it. Wonder why he took the tweet off? Either was requested to or realized how ludicrous it was in the first place?

Basically it was a tone deaf bit of living vicariously. He couldn't leave well enough that his daughter was headed to Southern Cal. He had to take a jab at the others who were involved in the admissions scandal, when he basically elevated his kid into a privileged status the old fashioned way. Would someone like him really standby and let his kid go through the regular admissions process and risk getting a denial letter?
