CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
- Lettered as halfback in 1945,46,47,48. Was also punt returner.
- Led team in rushing with 540 yards and averaged 6.3 yds/carry in 1946.
- Was part of UCLA's second Rose Bowl team of 1946.
- Was also an All-Conference baseball player.
- Went on to coach high school football at Long Beach Woodrow Wilson, his alma mater.
ACCOLADES
- Inducted into UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame in 1996.
