The BG-pedia's development began in early 2009, became operational  in Spring (March/April) of 2010.  The official unveiling of BG-pedia cam in April 9, 2010.

Many online resources and hard-copy literature were used to produce the pages of the BG-pedia. Chief among the online links are:
