* Led team in tackles for three straight years.  His 133 tackles in 1981 ranks 10th in school single-season list.
* Ranks 3rd in team for career tackles (405).
* His seven interceptions in 1983 ties for fifth in the school's [[Single-Season_Interceptions_Leaders|all-time single-season list]].
* Tied for 4th in team for career interceptions (14).
* 1st round selection (18th pick overall) in 1984 [[NFL Draft Selections|NFL Draft]] (Cleveland). Was 1984 AFC Defensive Rookie of the Year.
