- Served as team captain in 1988.
- Led team in rushing in 1988.
- Was a 2nd round selection (35th pick overall) in the 1989 NFL Draft (Cincinnati Bengals).
- Tied a Rose Bowl record in the 1986 Rose Bowl Game by scoring four touchdowns for UCLA against the Iowa Hawkeyes, and was the Rose Bowl MVP.
