- Team posted 30-6-1 record in his career.
- Was a key part of Bruins' 1954 National Championship team which averaged over 40 points a game.
- Was a 2nd round selection (24th pick overall) in the 1955 NFL Draft (Detroit Lions).
- Played in NFL for the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.
