- Was UCLA defensive MVP for 1975 team that shared Pac 8 title (with Cal Bears).
- Was member of 1976 Rose Bowl Team that beat top-ranked Ohio State.
- Was a second round selection in 1976 NFL Draft (Kansas City Chiefs).

- Earned All-American honors in 1975.
- Was team's Defensive MVP in 75.
