Career Highlights
- Lettered as quarterback in 1932,33,34.
- Led Bruins to it's first Rose Bowl.
- Went on to become a renowned Hollywood film producer.
- Threw a 93-yard touchdown pass to Ransom Livesay versus the 1932 Oregon team. This record stood until Wayne Cook connected J.J. Stokes for a 95-yarder in the 1993 Washington game.
Accolades
- Inducted into the UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame in 1986.
Note: His brother, Lee also played for UCLA and was team captain in 1936.
