  • Lettered as nose guard in 1984,85,86,87. Was a three-year starter.
  • Was fifth in career tackles for loss.

  • In the waning minutes of the 1985 Fiesta Bowl, Tumey forced a fumble after a sack to secure the 39-37 victory over the Miami Hurricanes.
