  • Lettered as fullback in 1957,58,59.
  • Served as team captain in 1959.
  • Was the school's leading scorer in 1959.
  • Was a draft choice in the Old AFL's inaugural (1960) Draft for a team (Minneapolis) that never played a game. (Minneapolis defected to the NFL and became the Minnesota franchise in 1961).
