Nice little piece on UCLA Commit Shamar Martin; I really like this pick-up for the Bruins.

He is an athlete with elite speed and a great attitude the type we need to compete at the levels to which we aspire. High School football starts tonight.

Another player to watch in San Diego is Kenan Christon of Madison; that other school in L.A. appears a likely destination but I think Stanford and UCLA may also be in the mix. He has the same elite speed and is a very highly regarded running back in the San Diego Section.

speaks volumes about his attitude, team first orientation and fearlessness.

The opposing coaches call him a true shutdown corner. We may have a real gem in this young athlete.
