In response to Huskies lose another QB (8ball)

Washington coach Chris Peterson has no problem leaving in the middle of a contract for a better opportunity at another school, and pocketing millions in the process. However if one of his players wants to get on the field instead of staying on the bench? Peterson will be vindictive and screw him over. |

Their 2020 qb recruit (trying to remember the name...Garbers) threw for 8 touchdowns Friday night. |

Saw him last year at Cal, he didn’t have a good showing in relief. They also have a red-shirt and a true freshman still.
How about the lack of commitment by these guys who don’t win the job? |

If Petersen is the blocking power here and not UDub or the NCAA, then he's playing it wrong. I think it's safe to say that we all find him to be a respected, successful and innovative coach. Who can ever forget that daring, wildly entertaining Fiesta Bowl win against OK or the way he helped put Boise on the map?
But in blocking these players he is retrograde and dysfunctional. He fails to put the interests of the player first, the clear intent and spirit of the new rules allowing players more freedom.
This is very disappointing. It reveals Petersen to be of low character, small-minded, spiteful and selfish.
He comes from the Jim Sochor coaching tree so I've always supported him, until now. He might continue winning at UDub, but there'll be one less fan going forward. |
