Has zero academic requirements, massive financial support, is not located in big city (with big city distractions and you have small town fame), and play cupcakes regularly. |

What it amounts to is there is a new D1. It includes the CFP teams and a few others, probably a total of 10 - 15 CFP capable teams. The new D-2 are the legacy programs like Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas, Florida, etc. where the brand in football is strong but they have faltered behind the D-1 programs and aren't serious championship level contenders. The new D-3 is Ucla and the rest of the decent programs that have too many other things to think about and do to be considered championship level material.
Chip will likely get us to D-2, or 9 or 10 wins, but he won't get us to D-1. Enough? |

I mean everyone knows UCLA only takes “student-athletesâ€...I mean, how ELSE could you explain our atrocious record the last two years, and our equally embarrassing recruiting results? |
