JC RB Rachaad White not signing with UCLA

Apparently there are academic issues that will prevent him from signing with UCLA this week.

I thought Chip’s slow and deliberate screening process was intended to eliminate losing a recruit at the last minute like this.

Our recruiting is a mess.

He looked like he could help provide a different skill set.

Glad Brown is coming in and that should help out.

Agreed on the screening thing. It's almost as if that was a total BS excuse....

Who then becomes academically ineligible. Better to know before he signs.

1. Don’t offer enough recruits. Ie assume you’ll hit on 80% of your offers
2. Under recruit the lines.
3. Have 75 kids leave who “aren’t tough” but replace them with... Unheralded Less talented players and then assume they fit your system. Whatever system that is
4. Hit the transfer and JC market hard. Take anybody. I mean anybody interested because with kids leaving via transfer draft or just quitting you don’t have enough roster spots

Smashed the old record by 28.
Seems to me the vetting process is having more success than not.
