Agree on linemen. UCLA was said to be “leading†for a couple of those highly rated guys by someone that needs to drive interest in the topic on a specific board. |

Much too early to review classes with verbal commits only, especially in a year predicted to have the most decommits ever as college programs begin to weed out some verbals and pursue others depending on how these recruits perform/progress in the upcoming HS football season (assuming there is one).
FWIW, UCLA currently has the 4th best class in the Pac12 per 247 Sports based on their points system (SC and Oregon are far in front, Cal is a distant 3rd). Again, much too early to get excited or concerned about where the Bruins rank.

Until Chip decides to take defense seriously we won’t win with any consistency. And it is going to be hard to attract elite defensive players to a team with a defensive coordinator who keeps finishing near the bottom of the NCAA in total defense with a Power 5 Conference team. I keep having this nightmare where our defense has a 3rd and ten and they line up with the corners playing 10 yards off the LOS. I guess it is time to wake up. |
