DL was the right call for this recruit

Kelly's process, much maligned at BG, deserves credit for at least being on the right side of this player's recruitment. We're recruiting him as a DL and most everyone else sees him as an OL.

"UCLA, Fresno State, Syracuse, Alabama A&M, Utah, San Jose State, Nebraska, Oregon State, Duke, Washington State and Utah State are the schools explicitly recruiting Simmons to play defense. "

But he wants DL. We got it right.

He looks like he'd be a great get.

So UCLA and 10 other schools are doing the same thing

And this is somehow evidence of Kelly's special insight...not sure I follow.
