Former top 10 qb out of high school I wouldn’t mind taking a flyer on him and letting him be part of the competition next season after Joey is gone.

Did he bring up price tag in this initial conversation. Or is this a case where none of the prior schools didn't live up to promised NIL money. And he realized Ucla was one of few who were straight with how NIL works( I made this up but I like this reasoning)
