In ordinary seasons #33 (Michigan State) and #34 (UCLA) are matched up in the First Four because they need to play somewhere nearby the First Round matchup. This year since everyone plays in Indiana, they should have tweaked the format so that Michigan State and UCLA played the #35 and #36, respectively. Then, the two winners with higher seeds would be placed with the lower 6 seeds. This would have been more equitable for the tournament.
