1. Riley
He's been the necessary lone threat in our wins as essentially the lone big guy. Cronin must manage Cody's time to preserve stamina and avoid silly fouls borne if fatigue; he must ensure Cody's availability as a resource at game's end; he must find a balance among periods of activity and rest, of effectiveness and restraint.
2. Three point make rates
Success lay among the usual four main gunners, who as a group averaged in conference action .377 from 3p range in wins and .345 in losses. Narrow performance margin !
3. Tyger
The team's season-long director of pace is subject to tentative play when guarded by quick, long opponents. If he cannot create opportunities off the bounce for himself, passing lanes can and will be overplayed. Izzo is famous for coaching poaching.
