About that. But I guess he felt it more important to set the defense and avoid fouls. The refs could have done something stupid |

But not great, that was one of worse decisions I’ve seen. The press was working, it was getting turnovers, and he didn’t bother, let them set up their shot, which they practiced 1,000 times.
The press isn’t for the time, it’s for forcing them into a mistake and taking them out of their play. Disruption in a high pressure situation, but instead we opted for the lower pressure play that they’ve practiced.
Bailey did not get enough touches in the second half AGAIN. |

to make comments after the fact. If he missed, people be like, great job... great plan.
That was a good play call by Gonzaga.. to go for a 3 ball with that much time left on the clock instead of driving for 2. But I think that is a reflection of respect for UCLA's defense. Against other teams, I don't think Few makes that call. Knowing that UCLA can lock down on defense and make it difficult for you get a good shot up. So you take it early and far and hope it either goes in or you get the rebound.
He made a difficult shot from far away. UCLA guys challenged. It went in. That's that. Players make plays and they made one more play than UCLA.
