Certainly a decision.

Not one I agree with, and the ridiculous ad hominems will persist, I'm sure.

For someone who claims to worship Wooden, can't say for certain but I'm pretty sure Wooden would not have put up with such a cheap shot.

Then let Wooden suspend him however

Mick Cronin is the current coach and his decision. Not a decision for you or anyone else to make but Cronin.
Cronin is hired to win games.
Aloha and Go Bruins !!!

It's down to each individual's level of trust with Mick

There seems to be agreement that whatever incident may have preceded Mack's forearm to the throat, it doesn't justify his actions and that the ejection was fully justified. I am wired to believe that Mick is far more in tune with all the facts and with his player. So,
while his actions aren't justifiable, I would factor what may have led to that mistake when deciding on further action, i.e. a suspension.

I'm 100% cool with this decision. I'd have also been

cool if the player had to miss the first half of the $c, or all of the $c game, etc. I think it's fairly safe to assume that the school and the conference took a look and didn't see a reason to go beyond getting tossed out of the game. Play on...

In terms of not having the hands up.

I think he also alluded to what the same Utah player did to Berke.

It's a rough/tough contact game.

As a parent who has punished children

I made a point of never punishing a child in a way that punished the whole family. For example, saying something stupid like, "do your homework or we're not going to Disneyland on Saturday" would punish the whole family for the misdeed of one. That's poor parenting.

Same situation here. Don't punish the team for the misdeed of one. There are other was to punish. And the public doesn't need to be privy to it.

If the league did not suspend him, no need for coach to.

He was obviously provoked by Carlson, who seem to play like a dirty ahole.

And threw the retaliatory elbow too high, fing up the execution.
