As a lifelong Bruin fan I have never ever ever ever

Sung the praises of any other program because no one will ever match or eclipse what my UCLA has accomplished. As much as I hate to watch a Duke team so loaded with talent recruiting kids from all across the country including our own backyard play so well I tip my hat . I had hoped when the Muppet coach k retired they would struggle but alas Scheyer has done a great job and with his youth and their fan support will be tough for my foreseeable viewing years. I hate Duke

They haven’t subjected us to the type of pain say Florida has, and their newer guys seem ok. The new kid flagg seems fun to watch and seems like the real deal, though admittedly I haven’t watched as closely as years past.

Always. They’re the USC of college basketball.

Rich, entitled, and only occasionally can they back up the hype and unearned confidence.

When he was hired, and everyone was criticizing Scheyer, I said that he would continue the high standards and that I loved the hire.

Whether he wins it all or not the guy has done an excellent job. He is a positive guy, much like my guy JJ Redick, and has his team playing very well.

I think Duke being good is excellent for College Basketball. I wish Scheyer was our coach.

Scheyer is doing fine. But it's a lot like Calipari

with Anthony Davis+Kidd-Gilchrist or Derrick Rose+CDR: very hard to coach that team badly.

And having Cooper Flagg this year is not hard to coach. Just throw the ball out there. Riding off of Coach K, ESPN (the Duke Central Hype machine), helps tremendously in recruiting. Also, when you have Dicky V saying stupid stuff like Coach K is the greatest Coach ever every time a microphone is in his face, how the heck is that good for college baseketball unless one is a closet Duke fan???

I figured he would fail, only because following a legend is so very hard. He still has work to do and a Caleb Love heater could derail him a bit but so far so good for this guy. They are recruiting at such a higher level out of high school than anyone so that is a testament not only to him but the entire program and alumni base.
