With the little I know, I have a hard time feeling sorry for him, that is, thinking he has somehow been cheated by circumstances. I would guess strongly that he could stay at UCLA without losing his scholarship and complete his degree. If the recruiting, transferring, paying, etc. situation were the same now as it was ten years ago, he still would have probably lost his starting role. Andrews has performed fairly poorly for most of his career at UCLA, for the level of basketball that UCLA aspires to, for a starting PG. It would appear he's leaving because he doesn't want to ride the pine. His decision. |
