Cronin always a good listen on the Cowherd show. Loved how he explained the differences in European player development vs the US.

ALSO, agree on the G league. Now with NIL in college. G league, in my opinion, not worth much. NBA should go back to encouraging kids to stay in NCAA longer - better coaching. G league mainly for kids who want to be NBA player but most wont make it.

He's great in these settings. He has a very strong understanding of the youth basketball landscape. He noted that high school still serves as a key training environment for basketball and it has has the practical constraints of practice hours limits and gym time (competing with volleyball etc) compared to the "academy" approach in Europe.

He'll be an easy add to a studio show when he decides to hang up his whistle.
