Given how he was used inconsistently this year, one might wonder if there was a lack of trust. He needs playing time. Cronin screwed the pooch on this one. |

Agree Cronin should have played the kid more. Kid improved significantly - earned more minutes. Plus like many have said. Bilo at C never worked. Bilo needs to be more productive from the 3 pt line.
Kinda ironic, recently Mick was on the Cowherd show. Mick said Europe is better with development due to the academies can just focuse on the sport and not having confined schedules and acadmic rules to abide by.
Mara probably got a much better check with an NCAA school. Though could it be possible he goes back to Europe? |

The roster was set up for Mara to play heavy minutes next season. His so called camp said he was staying. We paid to get Dent and he changed his mind when the leaches came with their wallets wide open. That is life with NIL. |

He was recruit #1. By far. As I've said for two years now, you build the team around talent like him.
For Cronin to let him get away is absolute coaching malpractice. He should have been our first priority, and the fact that he wasn't is truly sad.
Lets run down the list of excuses:
-He came back and asked for more money! Why didn't we get a signed agreement to return in the first place?
-He asked for so much money we couldn't afford him! Please. I'm sure plenty of donors would have kicked in a few mil to return Mara. This is just a pathetic excuse. Also: why wasn't he priority #1 for our budget even if we had one?
That leaves: he probably asked for a guaranteed starting spot or guaranteed minutes, and Cronin refused because Cronin is Cronin and that violated his "principles" or his ego. And here we are.
Cronin is not the coach for this moment. He's not going to get us there. |
