Final thought and my only wish.

My other thread was full. Let's start a new one and share my final thought.

Many Cronin loyalists say there's only one story, BRO's story. So they have to talk about it and even criticize a kid who was once beloved by most Bruins fans. In any relationship, marriage, employment, mentorship, etc., there are always two sides to the story especially when things are not going well. My only wish is that Mara and his parents show some class and let it go. Please do not step up and share your side of the story. It will get ugly and won’t be good for anyone.

Mara is a great kid, and he will prove those doubters wrong. He will succeed in another program, in the NBA, and in international basketball. It's not worthy it to speak out now.

About BRO's story, I sincerely don’t think it has anything to do with Cronin. Yes, his feelings are hurt when his tough love doesn’t work and Mara decides to leave. However, Cronin has the decency not to do this. It was either leaked by someone in his outer circle without Cronin's acknowledgment, or BRO made it up based on some rumor he heard. I strongly believe it's the latter. It's all for his shady business model. A paywall business model will never work, especially when you lose credibility.

I really hope he did not, that would not be honorable. I can see it happening to anyone and everyone under their breadth to themselves in the wake of the moment when something truly bad happens. More instinctive and automatic than anything else. But after thought, thinking it through, I hope not and if so should be apologized for.

If Mara is gone and some team picks him up, I would guess we will find out his value in both $ and as part of that team..

Mara just posted on his Instagram.

It's my worst fear. I wish he let it go. Please don't share your side of the story. Your former coach will never do this to you. It must be someone else.

It's not worthy it. Most Bruins fans will forever love you. Go become the best big in NCAA next season.

seriously. College sports is supposed to be fun and enjoyable for students, alumni, and fans. Too many express their opinions as truth without necessarily knowing what is actually true. The principals know what’s true, but that’s about it. Coaches don’t always do things “right” according to fans, but they always a do their best. Players don’t always perform “well” according to fans, but they always perform the best they can. Fans always know what’s “right”, but rarely do they ever know the facts behind whether the coaches or players are doing what is “right”. We fans are all great at making judgements about what others do, even if we don’t have a clue about what’s goes on when we can’t possibly know anything. Sorry for the rant.
