In response to Why you so sure? (Rivaldo.10)

Rivaldo, he's right. He does math. If you don't like it, send Men of Westwood the deed to your house and send them the deeds to 5 more houses even if you don't own them. Someone tried that with Graceland and it almost worked. Such is America and its Americana.
You don't need arcana, inside info or to be a rocket scientist.
It's just addition with lots of zeros.
Cronin had money for Brayden and Nik.
He likely budgeted a certain amount for Aday, but got surprised.
Donovan is getting MORE than Brayden will get. Please.
But Crispy is unhappy. He's unhappy, but he hasn't pledged to send all of his eating out at fine dining establishment money to Men of Westwood for the next 25 years, prepaid.
Nik's overvalued (people thinking he's Knueppel), but between expected Aday v real Aday and the added expense of Donovan over Brayden, Cronin's likely spent everything on Jamar, Steve and the X-Man (hopefully, the latter's more Wolverine than pre-Phoenix Jean Grey, but I'll settle for Nightcrawler at this point).
Mick was supposed to get some part (a big one) of the $20 million a year from the Big 10 Network money, but that's been held up.
I'm pretty sure Men of Westwood thought that money was in the bag and that the bag was in the river, but until that cat stops scratching you better wear protective gear, have a tourniquet on hand and keep raising more money.
No way Cronin can afford to pay out more than $1 million total for maybe 1 or 2 more guys to get us to 11 or 12 rides, and given how fast prices are rising Jan Vide might get $1 million to go to Vanderbilt after scoring 8 PPG for LMU this past year...
Ian Jackson, based on perception alone, will get more than $2 million. How could Cronin have that money?
If he did, he'd have spent it on someone better already, but a SR to be who you can take to the bank. Less risk.
Did you watch the NC game? Or the Final 4, where the team with the 3 5-star lottery picks cracked under the pressure applied by the high school losers?
NIL, not politics: Khaman Maluach's getting deported, so maybe he won't be a lottery pick. H-1B visa? Is that coming or going? Khaman, are you coming or going? It's not up to you, it was up to your fans and they thank you for your service and are now placing a black bag over your head and sending you home to die. They have their money for next year's team, so they don't care that you're gone one way or another...
Really.
