Softball: #6 UCLA starts east coast roadie with no hitter

After the disappointing loss to Iowa on Sunday, UCLA landed in the DC area for a midweek game against Howard and a weekend series against Maryland.

In Sunday's loss, UCLA had a 4-2 lead going into the 6th inning. Kaitlyn Terry wasn't having a lockdown performance but she held Iowa scoreless after allowing 2 runs in the 3rd and the Bruin bats came back with 3 runs to take a 4-2 lead. But, Taylor Tinsley came into the game to start the 6th and could not find the strike zone. The Hawkeyes scored 5 runs and won the game. Just the day before, Tinsley had pitched 5 shutout innings against Iowa in an 8-0 win.

In the midweek game against Howard, Addisen Fisher threw a complete game no-hitter as the Bruins won 10-0. It was her first no hitter.
