UCLA baseball wins, 1 victory from conference title

UCLA has just defeated Oregon 4-2 as Garcia pitched 7 innings, giving up only 2 runs. The Bruins can clinch at least a tie for the conference title with a win tomorrow (or a Stanford loss tonight). Stanford is currently leading 5-2 over ASU in the 9th inning so it appears the Bruins will need to win tomorrow.

ASU came back from 3 down in the bottom of the 9th to beat Furd. UCLA clinches the title.

ASU pulled off an improbable rally against Stanford's closer. Trailing 5-2 in their last at bat, ASU scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 9th to win 6-5. The Bruins are now up 2 games in conference with 2 to play.

IIRC, ASU is highest scoring team in the Pac-12, so no lead is safe with them.

I know that Savage isn't going to celebrate the conference title. He probably more concerned right now about how he wants to call Ralston's pitches against the Ducks tomorrow.
