Posted Sat, Aug 20 2:38 pm
Cowherd has us at #6 and SC at #3. SEC peeps are losing their minds.

He’s right about one

I think UCLA is too 10 material. A good sign is UCLA featuring Latu on Instagram, that’s unusual unless he’s fully healthy and tearing it up.

Chip mentioned him the other day. As you have pointed out he’s really big and athletic so perhaps he will shine…

He’s NFL bound, if healthy, which I think he is. Look out. I’ve watched him since HS, he’s a beast.

No way the PAC 12 has 3 teams in the Top 10

Especially three of them in the same division of the PAC 12. Cowherd just gas lighting.

Maybe one of them ends up Top 10.

I highly doubt UCLA will be the one. Sure would be awesome for me to be wrong!

I think we’re good enough to be #6. We have one of the best coaches in the country with the most experienced QBs and the best QB-RB combination.

I hope for the sake of many on this board he is right.

I will say it again, circle the UW game.

Good article, but Sondheimer's tweet did not "go viral"

It had 400 likes. That's nowhere close to viral.

That game may dictate the season. Word is UW is much improved, and it was close last year. New QB who De Boer was OC for at IU, two new All-Conference LB’s, and new RB from UVA? There are two DL from Michigan to keep your eyes on, twins, and they are huge.

Beat UW and 10-2 is very possible…

UW is a Ucla lean…maybe a bit more than a lean. USC is a toss up and very possibly a win.

Utah and Oregon are tough putts. Both are going to be very good and are better than the Bruins.

I am not sold on the Bruins OL. The Bruins need to quit losing to a team they should beat. Fresno
and ASU last year.

This year UW and UA are on my upset alert lists.

The Bruins may be better than both but that has not stopped them in the past.

Until they prove they won’t stub their toes I will
look at the upset alert list.

Injuries are always a wild card.

I think 12-1 is possible

We’re going to be the surprise team of the season. I could see us sitting at 11-1 going into the Pac-12 championship game against Utah to avenge our lone loss. Finishing the season 12-1, defeating every opponent on our schedule, should be enough for a spot in the CFP, although our SOS will be questioned.

Oregon and Utah are the two toughest games followed by USC and Washington. Not necessarily in that order.

The Bruins have to do what they usually don’t do, stub their toe against someone they should beat….Colorado, Arizona or ASU. Bruins won’t overwhelm teams on talent alone. Very little room for error.

Right now I would say 9-3 with a decent shot at 10-2.

Their SOS hurts them, schedule does not make them better. Not their fault but I like playing at least one good non-conference team.

Both UW and UofA will be good, didn’t WSU QB De Laura end up there? He’s a gamer and they have been quietly rebuilding, they were in a lot of close games last year.

I think we can get 10+ wins. If they can't, who knows.
