According to the article, UConn's stadium is 25 miles from campus..............don't think I've ever heard that before. I thought is was just UCLA and Miami with that kind of a crap arrangement.

“I should not have been fired. What did they win, 18 games since I was fired?”

Welp, I guess we’ll see how UConn works out for him.

Because it took that long to purge the dead weight from the roster, thanks Mora.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember that he all but abdicated his responsibilities as a head coach his final few games at UCLA. I thought at the time that his conduct was unprofessional and that he should have resigned.

Unfortunately, he’s personal life took away from his professional, and, well, we saw what happened. I’m not a Mora hater though, I’m old enough to know enough good people whose personal lives go sideways for a bit. I wish him the best of luck, he really shouldn’t comment about it this point, he’s got a new hug and it looks bad.

a Mora hater as well…

However, like my grandpappy would say, “a poor craftsman always blames his tools!”

The last year with Mora was particularly painful.

In addition, his passion bucket had a plethora of holes in it at the end…

I am wishing him the best!

Both Mora and Toledo won with the players they inherited. Yes, they did bring in a few great players but not enough of them since they both took a nose dive after year three.

We will never know for sure, but I believe we would have won only one game (CAL) DTR's first year if Mora hadn't been replaced.
