With auto entry for conference champion, PAC 12 is a better conference to get in playoffs.

conference champions, not power conferences. One of the power 5 conference champions theoretically could be left out of the automatic qualifiers if Group of 5 champions have a higher ranking.

It would require 2 G5 conference champions to finish ranked ahead to deny a P5 champion a spot. There very well might be more than one G5 team ranked ahead of a P5 champion but the likelihood of them being from different conferences is minimal. It’s usually only the MWC or AAC who have occasionally highly ranked teams. Recent realignment has drastically weakened the AAC so it’s really just MWC left. I’m not suggesting it’s impossible or will never happen but I think it’s highly unlikely. If a p5 champion ranks below multiple G5 champions, they probably don’t stand a chance in the CFP anyway.

Dismantling Oregon, I’d probably not be that sure Oregon has an easy road to anything.

Did oregon deserve that preseason #11 ranking?

They lost a lot of good players, was surprised they were ranked that high.

Georgia is still VERY, VERY good, but Oregon's making them look like the '85 Bears.
