My HS games had more butts in seats
It's sad. This is a good team. They deserve more support. They've earned as much support as any team in the p12 except Utah and Oregon. (Those teams have earned more recently.) |

The players played in the same heat that fans had to sit thru.
I can understand some fans not attending for health/age reasons. The student body, alumni, “fans”, faculty not showing. Sad.
One of the saddest UCLA football moments of my lifetime seeing the empty seats yesterday.

Everything is done remotely these days. Why not football? I personally never attend football games at the Rose Bowl. I think the stadium is way too far and I don’t like burning in the sun. Watching at home on TV is far more comfortable and saves money. UCLA needs to seriously decide whether they want to continue playing at the Rose Bowl. Perhaps it’s time to adopt my plan for the UCLA-Coliseum subway rail and move our home games back to the Coliseum. In time, we could reach a deal with USC to completely rebuild the Coliseum into a state of the art college football stadium. |
