Nice to get contributions from so many. Unfortunately, Jay Toia wasn’t one of them. I’m sure he still impacted the game but the dude needs to show up in the box score

... and was very much a part of the success of the D.

I thought the interior DL (IDL) played very well.

The pairings that I saw were:

Jay and Andrus (#44)

Sykes and Gary Smith (#58)... and Smith was great. What a pick up.

Dovid Magna (94) got a number of snaps, too. He's got a great build. Tall and strong. He earned a scholie this year, and one of the other players mentioned in a media interview last week that he really transformed his body.

A Guy I felt sorry for today was Tyler Manoa. He's been a pretty good IDL for Ucla, especially from a pass rushing perspective.

He moved to OL in the spring.

He didn't play at all today. And for most of the day, he sat by himself at the far end of the northern most bench.

If they're not going to use him at tackle, then let him play dt, where he can certainly make a contribution.

I'd hate to see him leave. Football at a billion degrees is more fun when you're playing.

Martin Andrus played. Or Kain Medrano? Quentin Somerville, haven’t heard anything about him but he’s a quality recruit that I still have high hopes for. CCK did a great job of spreading the playing time around. We didn’t have this one in the bag until late. Loved seeing Garbers get to pass/Harden get some quality carries/Jaylin Davies looked like the 4* recruit that he was/Churchwell and Kirkwood were the first Bruins in recent memory to bring the Wood.

I thought he was pretty effective moving the LOS to their side. #44 was the starting 3 tech (aka, dt), while Jay Toia was the starting NG (1 tech)

Kain didn't get snaps at LB until late in game.

LBs who played the most were Darius Muasau, Choe Bryant-Strother (CBS) and Jon Jon Vaughn (JJV)

And in terms of recent wood bringers, don't forget Adarius Pickett.
