I was at the game.
1) It was hot, but walking on the black top concourse was hotter, that stunk.
2) I liked the way Keegan Jones played. Hope it continues. Charbs needs to break one to the house. I like Bobo’s size. I not worried about his mistakes, just don’t repeat them. Even Phillips muffed a punt once.
3) We’re a 2nd half team…Adjustments are made and BG couldn’t do anything in the 2nd half.
4) Short passing game worked. Can’t wait til the longer routes start to happen. Allen is such a weapon. Dropped a ball, he was wide open, first down plus more…we need Kam Brown back.
5) You could see the block punt coming. They had everyone on the LOS except for the PR. Just sleep walking that first quarter.
6) DTR could’ve ran more but that’s being saved for another game and time.
7) Did I mention it was hot. No relief. Don’t blame people for not coming out, it’s borderline dangerous. I drank a ton of water Friday and Saturday morning to get ready for this. And I live about 1/4 from the Stadium. We’ve haven’t experienced a week long heat wave (100+) in years here Pasadena. It’s usually the low 90s.
8) The D looks stout and good eye candy. Blaylock had nice game. The Murphy twins and Lutu look the part. Hope it continues. I like the Defensive front.
