This whole — donors are fleeing so Chip must go — claim is full of unexplained holes and entirely limited to BRO. Let’s go over what we know;
1. THE ONLY PERSON making this claim is Tracy Pierson
2. Pierson has AVOIDED ANY MENTION OF A SOURCE It’s been another classic and unverifiable ‘If you knew what we know” presentation
3. All the people here on Bruin Gold claiming “inside information” also carefully avoid using sources
4. When the biggest donor of all, Casey Wasserman, disputed Tracy’s claim, he doubled down but AGAIN OFFERED NOTHING TO SUPPORT IT
5. Tracy has a history of stories that only he reports … and turn out to be true. I.E. “Mora To The Jets.”
6. We later learned Mora had never even been interviewed, let alone offered a job.
7. Amazingly the very next year Pierson wrote another story claiming Jim Mora was leaving UCLA for an NFL team. That also turned out to be false. |
