accepted a job else where? You know people have been saying that all season and not one person can come up with one single person that was available on such short notice. If you want some one to "blame" why don't you blame Kelly for leaving Jermond in the lurch like that. I have said this about a million times and I just posted this fact tonight on another post, the fact is that NO Coach UCLA ever hires will EVER be good enough. There will always be people that will hate every person hires to coach the team The ONLY coaches that no one ever wanted to fire are Red Sanders and John Wooden. |

Bieniemy is a joke and I like Foster but he is in way over his head. Ethan Gerber was baby food for 4 years. This program needs NIL to compete in a big time conference. Without it they're just wasting everyone's time. |

keep him after July, 2025 due to an additional $550K bonus he gets according an LA Times article earlier in the year:
“We’ve all just taken turns not doing our thing and so when that happens, I’ve always got to look internally, OK?” said Bieniemy, who is making $550,000 per year as part of a two-year contract that will also provide $550,000 in bonuses if he’s still employed through the end of July. “What can I do better to simplify it and make sure everybody has an understanding, and so I’m always overanalyzing self and making sure that I’m providing these guys the right information.”
He overanaylzed the plays and couldn't get them in, in time tonight as EG kept listening to his helmet transceiver and looking confused many times. Could be the affordable solution as defense was adequate with all the injuries. So let EB go and also need a better OL coach/recruiter as Castillo is too old school.

Remembering what used to be UCLA vs usc football…both teams are in serious decline trying to keep up in an $$$arms race they can’t win…ucla will assuredly not make the required commitment, usc will try but screw it up |

The problem is that we have very low-level talent. If you can't get one yard with the game/season on the line, you're not going to win anything.
If this staff can improve the O-line, and of course, the overall talent, I think we'll all be very happy. |

What we've become. Get a grip. Personally I think Foster's the perfect person for this job and while there were shortcomings this year, there were also some bright spots. I don't see a coach who's a deer in the headlights, I see a coach whose struggles are teaching him every day. He's telling us he's the guy. Believe him. It ain't happening in your time, but it's going to happen. |
