Mike Elko is too busy eating pancakes to put together a winning game plan but is bailed out by a bad throw. USC’s QB is terrible - 3 picks and still a quarter to go.

Elko still might blow this.

They bought out Jimbo for this? Jimbo could go 8-5 too.

Nah, actually he couldn’t go 8-5 the last two seasons…. You’d have to look all the way back to 2021 for that….. thus he got whacked.

Tomorrow is the last day to declare free agency and enter the transfer portal. Wonder if any other SC or A&M players will decide to enter the portal now that their bowl game has been played (along with players from any of the other teams that were in a bowl earlier today plus those involved with the eight bowl games tomorrow). Of course, teams not in bowls also face this final day of uncertainty.

USC's problem was they had 4 receivers who wanted to get the big bag and they could only afford 2. Riley chose Lemon and Lane over Duce and Branch to save much needed money for the defense.

Is this as strong a fact as u$c with Cox. You say this with conviction. Only 2 Big bags? How's their system work? I assume all those high profile names were promised Big bags out of high school. After that, do they narrow down the Big bags depending on fundings and performance? Only 2 for WR yhis year? How many for OL? How much for Heisman candidate QB? No TP QB this year? Inquiring mind wants to know.
