G5 getting further left behind

The one thing I hate about this new era is that Cinderella continues to get pushed out.

SEC and B1G know they can’t eliminate G5 from competition otherwise they’ll get sued. But the constant demands for more control over the playoff, payouts etc. will make it harder than ever for them to have a realistic shot at competing.

This by the way carries over to the other sports as well. Schools like Gonzaga won’t have a chance to become a power sport like they used to.

This sucks and is bad for college sports

G5 and low budget power conference schools, like UCLA, are being left behind in this new climate. It’s totally unfair and wrong.

This is nothing new. If a Dept is inefficient, they cut their programs. LB St, CSUF CSUN cut their football program in 80s. N Dakota St who probably doesn't come anywhere near close to Ucla and their football program is doing just fine.
