Good Luck With Nico

Hopefully, for your sake, he will change. Tennessee signed him with the largest NIL amount at that time. It's all about him and a real locker room cancer. Got to where he wouldn't show up at booster outings, tried to extort more money by threatening not to play against Ohio State in the playoffs unless more cash was deposited in his bank account, missed practice and would not answer his phone when coaches and teammates tried to call and see if he was alright or if something was wrong and sat out the spring Orange and White game. His attitude rubbed off on other players causing more problems.

His attitude, literally, turned his own players against him. He lost the locker room because of his antics. He showed flashes of brilliance but put his performance numbers up against the little teams you schedule to get a breather from conference play. He had SIX, yes six, touchdown passes against SEC teams that made playoff/bowl games and there was a large majority of SEC teams that made the extended season. He burned up lower level teams but did not do well against SEC play.

Everyone here, and all across the country, is glad he is gone. I feel for you as it seems UCLA is the only one that even wanted him. No doubt, schools were afraid he would be a cancer in their locker room, too. Maybe, since he was turned down by almost every school in America he will wake up and be the kind of player that is an asset instead of a detriment. Good luck to you.

You made the playoffs for the first time since like Tee Martin was there and there weren't even playoffs then....

You also probably don't realize that Coach Foster knows the family well as his little brother was committed for awhile.

Don't feel too badly for us... even if he comes for one year we will take him.... for a lot less money than in wanted to stay in Tennessee...

We'll see what happens...

It could be a disaster but we are hoping for the best.

SEC football is incredible and many out West enjoy watching those big SEC games. Packed houses and the electric atmosphere is something we’re trying to get back on the West coast.

I’m sure a school like Tennessee will have no problems getting a top QB from the portal.

He will never be happy at UCLA. The UCLA program is in a lot of trouble because of NIL. Taxes and living expenses are killing us .
With his history, I expect him to come in , fake an injury, and transfer out.

And my Tennessee friends who live there and support UT were UCLA boosters who got sick of the situation here in California. LOL. No great player wants to come here.

is butt hurt...we have felt it here in the past as well when players leave. Cant say I ever went to another schools board to make a post, but you do you.

I would suggest you go with it's just a game and we are talking about a 19-20 year old kid whose Dad was likely the one you should have issues with.

Good luck in the coming year
