The plays that stood out to me:

Great touch on deep over-the-shoulder catches

Throws an accurate deep ball with little effort

Lofts the ball nicely down field for a long completion

Scrambles and avoids the rush for long runs. He’s very fast for his height and can pick up a lot of yards when he runs.

But in these highlights I also saw a strong O line protecting him, receivers running good patters and getting open, and receivers with good hands. I mean, not many scrambles and Johnny Football hero ball... just quality offense operating on all cylinders.

Here's hoping Coach Foster has the team tuned up before he hands Nico the keys.

The sad part is he will not be throwing to Michael Sturdivant or Logan Loya...lost both to the portal. Especially sad for the loss of Sturdivannt with his speed he would have been a weapon.

There's always going to be Rabid Bruins and CNETs who are negative about a great thing. Not hem personally but always some. Unanimity is no longer a thing. We could win the title and some would be pissed....can't please everyone or hope to.

The point is a local kid wanted money commensurate with Carson Beck if he was going to stay in Tennessee, otherwise he was coming home... fair enough.

I am so stoked to have him. It brings a whole new level of excitement to this coming season, and as Baller said, you'd be foolish not to take things year by year in this day and age.

I hope Aguilar finds a good home... undoubtedly there will be teams that don't love their QB options after spring ball.

I was negative all year about G Money. I admit, I won't miss him. I couldn't unsee the Hawaii game.

Buts it's Ni-Force to the rescue.... I had a sneaking suspicion when I watched practice that the coaches were thinking what I was thinking.

Hoping Davis stays one more year as Nico could well go to the league after this season.
