I had forgotten that it could be like this.

It used to be that the incoming class was limited to 25 scholarships. Does that only apply to incoming freshmen?

That's all that matters... 85 scholarships limit is going away and yearly numbers irrelevant now.

Wow it feels good to say "Numbers Irrelevant now."

If 45 players go into the portal you can fill them all.

You warning to Nico yet?

I'm always wait-and-see about any recruit. I only care about production on the field. That's why you've never seen me in the recruiting forum. I just don't go there. It's boring to me.

Nico is just above boring because of all the bad press he's received. The only good press has come from UCLA sites. Makes it seem like UCLA fans are very desperate to hear any good news. However, I'll say this: From all accounts it appears that Foster is a fantastic pitch-man for UCLA and seems to be much better at recruiting than Kelly. But it needs to translate to wins, so it's wait and see.

your absurdly uplifting posts, although I have never agreed with any of them.

I would think most all of us value your flaccid observations and look forward to being bedazzled with your intrepid point of view.

Still waiting to know what year you graduated from UCLA.

apparently, the Latin revival is on it's way. I would definitely prefer for you to criticize me then the young men who play for UCLA. Stultus can be painful, play do see a doctor.

both from the period before he decided to leave UT and even after - his teammates at UT were supporting and wished him the best.

But in case it's helpful, here's a story that might help:https://www.on3.com/teams/tennessee-volunteers/news/nico-iamaleava-tennessee-vols-football-receivers-love-playing-for-him/

“They love playing for their guy,” Pope said, “like absolutely love playing for him. It’s infectious in practice, it’s obviously easy in the game because the crowd’s there and there’s adrenaline. But they absolutely love playing for their guy.”
