Best Pub Crawl Agenda Old Town
Posted Tue, Sep 20 8:37 am (Edited Tue, Sep 20 8:38 am)
I have close friends coming in from out of town and we are all staying over at a hotel near old town for the UCLA v Standford game. Although I have been going to the games for over 20 years, I do not really spend any time in Old Town. Please, if you can, post what would be your favorite pub crawl agenda if you had friends and a night on the town. List pubs/bars in order and why you like them. Maybe we could even have a fan joint pub crawl after the game!

The Yardhouse in the Paseo Colorado has a zillion beers and good food. The Stone brewery mini micro just north of the old Sante Fe train station is IPA heaven, if that's your thing- lots of seasonal and rare examples of their line, not many seats, though.
The station itself has two restaurants, an Italian/ pizza and an American cafe that are both good and both busy.
Right next to the he station is the metro light rail station.
Oh, and right next to Stone is one of the best sushi places in SoCal, Kimagure.

More for food than ambiance. Great menu/beers and relaxed atmosphere, but they do have the games on.

German beer hall with a good beer selection, cocktails, solid food, and big tables and space to spread out. I'm assuming you guys aren't fresh out of college and looking for an EDM party scene but this place is much more relaxed.

I honestly haven't spent a ton of time in Old Town besides playing a bunch of shows at Old Towne Pub (if you want to see some local bands playing they have live music almost every night) but I'm a big fan of Der Wolfskopf.

Not sure what the crowd will be like on game day. But, an excellent place to grab a good beer and relax with friends.

Slaters 50/50 is fun; good food, good beer selection and good televisions.

If you're walking Old Town; Yard House - Slaters 50/50, before the game. And Der Wolfskopf after the game.

If you have ride, try Griffins of Kinsale in South Pasadena.
