If you want a good street taco, try Tacos El Gordo in Chula Vista. Best adobada street taco ever. They have a couple of stores but make sure they’re open. The Broadway one is the largest I think.

For a carne asada burrito (asada, pico de Gallo, guacamole, you can add cheese and sour cream), or carne asada chips (all of that on tortilla chips), I really like Adalberto’s (not Alibertos, Roberto’s, Rodalfo’s, Albertos, etc.) in Pt Loma on Rosecrans. Not sloppy and messy but a really good taste. I don’t mess with any other items on the menu except for these when I visit.
That beginning of the name “Adal” makes a big difference. Only two Adalberto’s I’ve known of, the one in Pt.Loma (original) and then one in Sacramento but they may have expanded.

And Phil’s is pricey but great. I’d put it up as one of the better ones I’ve had (North Carolina, TX, Chicago, Lexington, Kansas City, Atlanta).
Greasy burger in a surfer dive restaurant: Hodad’s in Ocean Beach.
Italian: Filippi’s Pizza Grotto in Little Italy close to the airport and northwest part of downtown.
