Both defensives played great football. It was not one of Beban's best games, he was not a great passer and not a great runner, but like Billy kilmer in the single wing who preceded him, just made plays and had the ability to make decisions. That was an example of the plucky little bruins who despite being rather small, still always held their own. Don manning played a monster game at linebacker and really the only Vol scoring came on bruin turnovers. |
