Hope there is enough there to make a difference for some other kids, or whatever the family chooses to do with it. Way to young, and way too sad.

donor report

i pulled in and parked at Stater Bros at 8pm and then decided i wanted to go to Lowes first to return a defective product first. Just as i pulled out of the parking lot, i realized i would be traveling on the same road/path that Nick had his accident.

I realized that there would be some flowers where he had his accident and i somehow thought about the donors to the nickpasquale fund from BruinGold. So this report is for you who were so thoughtful and generous to make a contribution.

I thought i saw something on the side of the road, so i circled back and this is what i saw. There were many candles and quite a few were lit. There was a beautiful framed picture of Nick in a blue Bruin football uniform. There was a note that said Nick We will miss you and many more that i could not read because it was dark. There was a trophy, the kind kids get at the Boys and Girls Club. And there were some things that were hard to identify because it was dark, must be some special meaning from his friends.
The was a unopened box of hard candy, i thought some kid must of gave it to nick.

I said a prayer for his family and asked a blessing for the you donors to the nick fund.

I drove away and was surprised to see another place with candles so i stopped. there was an old man, seem like from Spain, lighting candles.

I said there were flowers and candles a block away. He said he never met Nick, but he thought he must of been a good guy because he said there were 3 places with flowers and candles.

the insight Root Beer. Thanks for your original post regarding the viewing party ay the OC Tavern in San Clemente. Viewing the game with the with the Nebraska fans was an enjoyable experience. It wpould be very difficult to find fans better than the Nebraska fans.

On another note, I attended the Memorial Services for Nick last Sunday. It was a powerful/emotional event. The place was filled beyond capacity. The entire team was there and Coach Mora was praised numerous times for his support of Nick's family. Prior to the service they reminded everyone to turn off their cell phones, reminding them that CJM was in the house. We finished the ceremony with an 8 clap. It was a moving tribute for Nick.

What an awesome thing for Adidas to do... 100% of the sales go to the foundation.
